PURPOSE OF THIS PRIVACY NOTICE
The purpose of this privacy notice is to give you information on how The MM Group brands (Market Modelers, Med ViewPoint and MedSimCenter) collects and processes your “personally identifiable information” (PII). PII, as described in US privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data).
When you register to become a market research participant with The MM Group, your contact information is added to our database of potential market research participants so that we can contact you when a market research study is being conducted that you may qualify for.
The MM Group’s website is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children.
WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT FROM THE PEOPLE:
When registering to be a market research participant we may request the following: Contact Info, such as name, email address, mailing address, phone number; Demographic information, such as age, gender, county, and other background information; Business related information, such as employer, professional specialty, and other information as needed to qualify you for a research project.
Our research projects generally require a representative mix of the population.
Participation in research projects is voluntary and constitutes an independent contractor relationship, not an employment relationship.
When completing an online survey, we may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type to collect aggregate information for internal reporting purposes and to ensure that multiple submissions are not received from the same IP address.
WHEN DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION?
We collect information from you when you respond to a survey, fill out a study registration form or enter information on our website.
We may receive personal data about you from various third parties and public sources as set out below: Licensing and certifying boards inside and outside the US; Advertising networks based inside and outside the US; Search information providers based inside and outside the US; Identity and Contact Data from publicly available sources based inside and outside the US.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?
We may use the information we collect from you when you register as a research participant to send you announcements of upcoming research projects or notices about current research projects.
THIRD-PARTY DISCLOSURE
When required by healthcare compliance policies, we may share a very limited set of personal data (name, profession, and incentive amounts paid) with the sponsors of our research projects. Your interview or survey answers will not be linked to this data. We may share anonymized data for research and statistical purposes without providing further notification.
We do not disclose any PII to any third party except as stated in this Privacy Policy, as otherwise permitted by law, or as authorized by you. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release information when it’s release is appropriate to comply with the law or to protect ours or others’ rights, property or safety.
DO WE USE ‘COOKIES’ ON OUR WEBSITE?
No, we do not use cookies for tracking.

HOW LONG WILL WE RETAIN YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

You have the right to: Request access to your personal data. This enables you to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you. Request correction of the personal data that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate data we hold about you corrected. Request erasure of your personal data. We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, we advise you to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately, after they are posted on this page.
